Dharasuram Airavateswarar Temple.










Dharasuram AIRAVATESWARAR TEMPLE is near Kumbakonam, TamilNadu, South India. This Temple was built by Raja Raja Chola II in the 12th Century, This temple is coming under UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. It showcases Dravidian Temple Architecture, and this is home to exquisite intricate sculptures and carvings.
In front of the temple, there is a small Mandapam, it has a staircase made up of stone panels. The staircase produces musical sounds of varying pitches when tapped.

Temples of Imperial Chola Kingdom are a real treat to watch.
